Jessica Follett
Owner
In 2025, founder Kathy Hyland passed the leashes to her daughter, Jessica Follett. Pets Naturally was born out of Kathy’s devotion to her Boston Terrier, Lucy, who faced ongoing health challenges. In a touching full-circle moment, Jessica now shares her life with her own Boston Terrier, also named Lucy, carrying forward the inspiration that first sparked Pets Naturally.
With Jessica’s leadership, customers can expect the same dedication to natural, high-quality products, along with new innovations to keep pets and their families thriving for years to come. Stop in to say hi to Jess and Lucy anytime!

Kathy Hyland
Owner
Kathy loves dogs!! Plain and simple. When her Boston Terrier Lucy became ill with intestinal and skin problems Kathy decided to find out for herself what was going on. She spent some time researching pet foods and was shocked to find out some of the truths about the pet food industry. Many of the major commercial brands are owned by corporate giants and the quality of our pets foods has been compromised to make way for more profits. Our pets in the U.S. are being forced to eat foods that are not good for them. Once Lucy’s diet was changed to a healthy whole food kibble containing real meat and no corn, her issues subsided. This is where Kathy’s passion to help other pet owners was born. Feel free to contact Kathy if you have any questions or of course stop in anytime!

Andrea has been around pets her entire life; from hamsters to horses. She shares her life with her husband and their three dogs, two lab mixes and an energetic Plott Hound. Andrea’s mother owned a vitamin store and learned that proper nutrition and supplements can change one’s life. That philosophy carried through to their pets. Andrea also worked at a veterinary hospital for over four years, which enforced her belief that one’s health starts with food..

Chloe was born and raised in Traverse City and has had a love for animals for as long as she can remember. Since joining the Pets Naturally team, she has developed a strong passion for pet nutrition and wellness. Inspired by her experiences, Chloe is currently taking online classes to become a veterinary technician. She enjoys continuing to expand her knowledge and helping pet parents make informed decisions that support the health and happiness of their pets.

Lynda Goodman
Sales Associate
Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, I made the move to Traverse City in 2019. I have a beautiful pit-husky mix, Ruger – otherwise known as perfection on four legs.
Most of my career was spent working in office-based property management roles, but eventually I decided to return to retail. After all, who wouldn’t want to spend their days surrounded by dogs?! It turns out that helping pet parents and slinging 30-pound bags of pet food is a lot less exhausting than sitting behind a desk all day.
That said, I quickly discovered there’s one thing I wasn’t prepared for: Northern Michigan winters. While I love Traverse City, y’all can keep the endless snow and subzero temperatures!

Crystal Yarlott
Sales Associate
Like all of our customers Crystal wants to give her two cats and three dogs the healthiest life she can. She is a popular wedding officiant with 700 weddings to her name. She moved here in 2005, and thinks our area is one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Kayla Trowbridge
Sales Associate
Kayla has spent her life surrounded by animals and has always had a deep passion for their care and well-being. A lifelong horse owner, she has also shown Border Collies in AKC events and brings a wealth of hands-on experience to the Pets Naturally team.
At home, Kayla stays busy with her two children, a Border Collie, a Great Bernese, and a beloved cat. Her love for animals extends beyond her own pets, and she enjoys helping pet parents build stronger relationships with their companions through education, understanding, and proper nutrition.
One of Kayla’s greatest joys is teaching her children the importance of compassion, responsibility, and the special bond we share with animals.

Pam Giovannangeli
Sales Associate
For me, holistic health is more than a philosophy, it’s a lifestyle. I strive to eat clean, live mindfully, and apply those same principles to the care of my two cats, Mr. Cowboy and Penelope.
I feel fortunate to work at Pets Naturally because it aligns so closely with my personal beliefs about providing the best possible care for our pets through natural, holistic methods. One of the things I love most about this industry is that there is always something new to learn. I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue expanding my knowledge and educating others in a field that is constantly evolving.
When she’s not helping customers in the aisles, Pam enjoys spending time outdoors and taking advantage of everything Northern Michigan has to offer. She’s a big fan of music festivals, local art, gardening, and winding down around a bonfire with family and friends. Whether you’re looking to improve your pet’s nutrition or simply have questions about their health and wellness, Pam is always happy to help. Stop by and say hello – she’d love to help upgrade your pet’s wellness routine!
